So what is happiness, exactly? Well, if you turn to the books, many more or less renowned philosophers and scientists all over the world have trifled with this difficult question. On a purely chemical level, the production and expulsion of the hormone serotonin creates happy emotions. Serotonin, in turn, is a by-product of natural light, which is produced by the sun. “What a happy thought”, we thought. Happiness, and the sun likewise, aren’t the worst things in the world - and certainly also not the worst namesake to have. And that’s where the story began…

From serotonin, we derived our club name, ZEROTWONINE. And it turns out to be more than fitting. After all, we don’t only take responsibility for our members’ delight. We also search the whole world for happiness - maybe at a less profound level than what philosophy and science might suggest, but still to an extent that our members and friends will hopefully find worthwhile. Since the beginning, 029 has grown into many things.
